Pollo Tropical Highlights Avocado In New Summer Items

For a limited time, Pollo Tropical brings the flavors of summer to its Caribbean-inspired menu with the addition of three new items that highlight the fresh, rich taste of avocado, plus the return of crispy Cheezy Yuca Bites.

The Chicken Avocado TropiChop bowl combines hand-chopped, ripe avocado with citrus-marinated, flame-grilled chicken breast and crispy bacon with white rice, romaine lettuce, Monterey Jack cheese, and diced tomatoes. Guests can also enjoy avocados in the Chicken Avocado Wrap or Chicken Avocado Salad, featuring grilled chicken breast, bacon, Swiss cheese, diced tomatoes, romaine lettuce, and cilantro garlic sauce, served wrapped in a thin flatbread and finished on the grill press or atop a bed of crisp romaine lettuce.

Cheezy Yuca Bites, a seasonal guest favorite, are crispy bites of yuca filled with melted cheese. The yuca bites can be paired with any one of the 10 zesty tropical signature sauces on Pollo Tropical’s Saucing Islandfor a different dining experience every time.

“Summer is avocado season, and what better way to complement our TropiChops, wraps, and salads than with the cool, fresh taste of this tropical staple,” says Pollo Tropical director of marketing, Sandra Pascual. “Our Cheezy Yuca Bites are the perfect poppable island bite, and we hope everyone will come in and get them while they’re here.”

The Chicken Avocado TropiChop, Chicken Avocado Wrap, Chicken Avocado Salad, and Cheezy Yuca Bites will be offered at all Pollo Tropical locations in Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas, and at participating Florida locations.
