Pollo Tropical ignited a spectrum of enhancements to its unique menu and fresh ingredients that will make Pollo fans everywhere fall in love with its flavor all over again.

As part of its renewal plan, the brand has increased focus on the quality and freshness of its offerings. In addition, the Research and Culinary Development team has created a variety of new menu items that include:

Guava BBQ Ribs

A new original, fresh Slow-Roasted Guava BBQ Rib recipe featuring pork ribs basted in a sweet guava BBQ sauce

Grilled Chicken BLT Sandwich

Boasting Pollo Tropical’s famous fire-grilled chicken, double smoked premium bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce and fresh-sliced tomato served with chipotle mayo sauce

Pollo Bites Kids’ Meal

A new Pollo Tropical Kids’ Meal featuring 100% white meat, antibiotic free, crispy chicken bites, served with a side dish such as French fries (or other options including Mac & Cheese, coleslaw, etc … ), apple juice or kids’ drink, and a chocolate chip cookie for just $4.99

New Side Dishes

  • Corn Casserole
  • Mac & Cheese
  • Mashed Potatoes with Gravy
  • Coleslaw
  • An all new Pollo Cheesecake
  • A new signature Key Lime Pie

As part of the introduction of these new menu items, for a limited time, Pollo Tropical is offering the brand’s traditional 1/4 Fire-Grilled Chicken and the new Guava BBQ Ribs, along with rice & beans (or one side dish in some markets) for just $7.49. The brand is also offering its new Grilled Chicken BLT sandwich as a combo with any one side dish and a fountain drink for just $5.99.

According to Pollo Tropical President Danny Meisenheimer, the focus is about enhancing the variety, quality, freshness and value of the menu.

“Pollo Tropical has been working on enhancing the quality and freshness of our menu. The development and introduction of these new items marks an exciting moment in our history,” Meisenheimer says. “They complement the foundation of our 24-hour marinated, fire-grilled chicken and homemade sides and take the brand to an all new level of freshness, variety and craveability. Meisenheimer added that Pollo Tropical continues to develop new menu items as part of the brand’s renewal plan, focusing on freshness and one-of-a-kind menu offerings.
