Pollo Tropical Plays with Pineapple for Latest LTO

Pineapple is the newest star in the Pollo Tropical kitchens, as the brand introduces its Tangy Pineapple Chicken Wrap and Tangy Pineapple Chicken Salad.

The Tangy Pineapple Chicken Wrap features pineapple grilled with olive oil, cumin, and a hint of black pepper; marinated then flame-grilled chicken breast; Monterey Jack Cheese and Chipotle Mayo wrapped in a thin flatbread, then finished on the Pollo Tropical grill press.

The Pollo Tropical Tangy Pineapple Salad features the grilled pineapple atop a bed of California Romaine lettuce, sweet corn, red peppers, and marinated grilled chicken breast, served with a Mango Poppy Vinaigrette dressing.

The new salad and wrap are only available for a limited time.

“We pride ourselves on providing this type of variety on our menu at Pollo Tropical,” says Jeff Webb, vice president for product development at Pollo Tropical. “Our new Pineapple Wrap and Salad are a perfect pairing of the sweet, grilled pineapple flavor and our already-famous marinated chicken.”
