Just in time for Lent season, Pollo Tropical is bringing back its grilled tropical shrimp with three great menu items! Beginning Feb.20, guests can enjoy a Grilled Shrimp Quesadilla Wrap Combo, a Grilled Shrimp Quesadilla Salad, and the Grilled Shrimp Create Your Own TropiChop.
All three menu items will be available for a limited time through Lent.
The Grilled Shrimp Quesadilla Wrap features basted grilled shrimp, melted cheddar Jack cheese, freshly chopped tomatoes, and a tangy chipotle dressing, all on an 8.5-inchflatbread that is finished on the grill press. The wrap is a tasty twist on the popular Chicken Quesadilla Wrap. It is available as a combo with a side dish and fountain drink for just $4.99 or a la carte for $2.99.
The new Grilled Shrimp Quesadilla Salad is like a party on a plate! The Grilled Shrimp Quesadilla Salad features basted grilled shrimp, crisp romaine lettuce, black bean fiesta salad, multi-colored tortilla chips, and shredded cheddar Jack cheese tossed with a chipotle ranch dressing and topped off with a 6-inch, hot-pressed cheese quesadilla.
The Create Your Own TropiChop empowers customers with the freedom to choose their own ingredients from a broad range of fresh ingredients.Customers first choose between white rice, yellow rice with vegetables, brown rice, mashed potatoes, half lettuce and half rice, and beans. Customers then select a protein item including the signature citrus-marinated grilled chicken breast, slow-roasted pork,or grilled shrimp. TropiChops may be topped with diced tomatoes, kernel corn, sautéed onions,or peppers and onions, in addition to an assortment of complimentary sauces from the Pollo Tropical salsa bar.
