The Japanese Fusion, fast-casual concept is adding their third franchise to the Georgia food scene. The new location will operate in Alpharetta, Georgia, well extending their footprint outside of Interstate 285’s perimeter.

Rick Herrmann, will open his PONKO Chicken franchise in the rising new Alpharetta development called The Maxwell to be located on South Main Street.  As a longtime resident of Alpharetta, Rick never questioned that he would bring the unique Asian fusion product to his beloved community in Alpharetta.

“I have loved this product since my very first bite of PONKO Chicken,” says Herrmann. “It is unparalleled in taste and atmosphere and I am really looking forward to sharing it with the community of Alpharetta.”

Rick is a longtime friend and associate of Dr. Patrick Sallarulo, PONKO Chicken’s chairman and CEO. He was first introduced to PONKO Chicken during the build-out for the Chamblee location and worked as the contracted millworker.  Sallarulo says, “I’ve had the pleasure to work with Rick on many projects, and his level of excellence and business acumen never ceases to amaze me. He is the perfect addition to the PONKO team and the ideal person to take PONKO to Alpharetta.”

PONKO Chicken Alpharetta will commence build out in the spring/summer of 2020 and will be open for business later on in the year. The “Eats Meets West” restaurant will boast the full menu, offering vegan and vegetarian options along with it’s award winning PONKO Chicken, will offer customized catering, and will feature a full bar.

Ponko aims to connect cultures, cultivate happiness, one chicken tender at a time and will continue to do so for the residents and neighboring communities of Alpharetta.
