Lenox Square announced the opening of Atlanta’s premiere Japanese-American restaurant, PONKO Chicken, in the Dining Pavilion spring 2020. The sixth location in the Atlanta-area, PONKO Chicken will occupy the former Taziki’s space and will showcase signature menu items like PONKO chicken tenders, sandwiches and tacos in addition to their fusion sides and beverage offerings.

Founders, Maggie Antoine (Culinary Executive) and Reiko Clark (Brand Executive) joined forces with Dr. Patrick Sallarulo (Chairman and CEO) in 2017. Together, they opened their flagship PONKO Chicken Restaurant in Chamblee, Georgia. Since their debut, the restaurant has garnered a substantial following in the Atlanta community with their unique Asian fusion fare. While specializing in their staple crispy chicken, the “Ameri-Asian” eatery also accommodates vegans and vegetarians with offerings like tofu tenders and vegan patties. Making everything from scratch, the PONKO team prides themselves in offering a healthy alternative menu full of fresh ingredients. “We are thrilled to be joining Atlanta’s premier shopping destination in the start of the new year. As a local brand, it’s an honor to showcase our product and story to busy shoppers and visitors alike,” says PONKO Chicken Chairman and CEO Dr. Patrick Sallarulo.

PONKO Chicken aims to connect cultures and cultivate happiness one chicken tender at a time and will continue to do so in the Atlanta Metropolitan area with plans to open various new locations. The Lenox Square location will incorporate the same modern interior and will be open Monday-Saturday 10am-9pm and Sunday 11am–7pm. The Lenox Square Dining Pavilion is located inside the shopping center at 3393 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30326.
