The quickly growing Eats Meets West, fast-casual concept is set to open its second franchise location in the newly fashioned Marietta Square Market Food Hall, located at 68 North Marietta Parkway NW Suite 103, Marietta, Georgia.

Kaitlyn Sallarulo, PONKO Chicken’s second franchisee, is the new owner of this “Ameri-Asian” restaurant. Kaitlyn Sallarulo, the daughter of Dr. Patrick Sallarulo, Chairman and CEO of PONKO Franchise Corporation, will soon step down as the general manager at PONKO Chicken Chamblee and begin her new role as the owner/operator in Marietta.

“I am extremely excited to be a part of this growing PONKO Chicken team, and even more excited to be a part of this tight-knit community in Marietta. Growing up, I cherished every time my family got PONKO for dinner and it is still one of my favorite foods today. Being able to spread that joy with PONKO’s amazing product and high quality service is a dream come true,” says Kaitlyn Sallarulo.

PONKO Chicken will boast its full menu, accommodating chicken-eaters, vegans, and vegetarians by also providing tofu tenders and vegan patties in addition to vegan and vegetarian sides. PONKO Chicken offers its Asian fusion dishes for delivery, pick-up, catering, and depending on the nature of the location, communal dine-in and slightly differing hours of operation.

PONKO Chicken aims to connect cultures and cultivate happiness one chicken tender at a time and will continue to do so in the exciting, robust foodie community of Marietta.

PONKO Chicken is known for its award-winning Japanese-American chicken tender, claiming the titles of “Best Selling Taste” at Taste of Atlanta, 2017 and 2018, “Best Fried Chicken” at ATL CLuckFest in 2018, “Top Selling Vendor” at SuperBowl Live 2019 and “Best Dish” in the Midtown Alliance Spring Crawl 2019.

Founders, Maggie Antoine (Culinary Executive) and Reiko Clark (Brand Executive) joined forces with Dr. Partick Sallarulo (Chairman and CEO) in 2017. Together, they opened their flagship PONKO Chicken Restaurant in Chamblee, Georgia. In 2018, the three owners decided to take their unique taste to the masses by offering the opportunity to franchise, and the first PONKO Chicken franchise store opened its doors in Midtown, Atlanta in 2019.  PONKO Franchise Corporation currently has agreements to open over 20 stores in various locations throughout the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.

The flagship Chamblee store can be found in Atlanta, GA at 2896 Chamblee Tucker Road and is open daily from 11am-10pm. Ponko Chicken Midtown is located at 915 West Peachtree Street NW Suite 6, Atlanta, GA 30314 and is open Sunday-Thursday: 11am-10pm and Friday-Saturday: 11am-11pm.
