Popbar Opens Second Location in Golden State

Popbar, the maker of customizable popGelato, popSorbetto, and yogurtPops, founded in New York City in 2010, has opened its second location in California at 400 South Baldwin Avenue, Shop A14, in Arcadia. A grand opening celebration is planned for the Santa Anita Westfield Mall location, which will take place on Saturday, January 30 at 3 p.m.

The opening of the newest location is stirring excitement across the Golden State. The grand opening celebration is sure to further fire up Popbar's fans, also known as Popaholics, with planned festivities such as giveaways and free customizable popbars which will be served from the shop's eye catching display. Popaholics will also have the opportunity to enter to win free popbars for a year and learn about the brand and what makes it so unique.

"Residents of Arcadia and Los Angeles are constantly seeking unique and healthy treats; that is why I have decided to open my very own Popbar shop," says Jacky Chan, owner of the new California location. "Another reason for opening: my daughter. She had her first popbar at the highly successful Anaheim location. As soon as she tasted that Strawberry popSorbetto popbar with Dark Chocolate and Sprinkles her eyes lit up and she smiled so wide. I want bring cheer to Los Angeles in the form of an all-natural, gluten-free, and low-calorie treat. I want to be able to give everyone the opportunity to have the same exact experience my daughter had when she tried Popbar's deliciousness on a stick."

At Popbar, you will find classic flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, and coffee, unusual and exotic flavors such as passion fruit, green tea, and banana, and seasonal ones, too, which include pumpkin pie, mango, and kiwi. Each can be dipped and topped to the customer's liking. Other Popbar treats include Hot Chocolate on a Stick, Frozen Hot Chocolate, Popaccino, nut spreads, and Poppings to Go—Popbar's signature Poppings enrobed in chocolate.
