Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen announced that the Central Michigan Chippewas of the Mid-American Conference and the WKU Hilltoppers of Conference USA will compete in the inaugural Popeyes Bahamas Bowl to be played on December 24 at noon EST at Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium in Nassau, Bahamas. The Popeyes Bahamas Bowl will be televised nationally in the U.S. on ESPN and broadcast on ESPN Radio. Those tuning into the game on TV will be the first to witness the unveiling of Popeyes’ newest limited time offer; guests will be able to “taste the mystery” on December 26.

“The entire Popeyes family congratulates the student-athletes, coaches, alumni, and fans of these two outstanding football programs, Central Michigan and WKU, on their selection to the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl,” says Hector A. Munoz, Popeyes chief marketing officer, U.S. “We’re looking forward to a competitive game in the Bahamas and have developed exciting ways for Popeyes lovers to stay connected to this historic bowl game at Popeyes throughout December.”

Popeyes is celebrating throughout the month of December by offering guests the Bahamas Bowl Bundle Box, consisting of 10 pieces of Popeyes Bonafide Chicken, with two large sides, and five Buttermilk Biscuits. For easier transportation, this meal comes in a specially designed and portable Popeyes Bahamas Bowl Bundle Box.

Additionally, the bundle box gives Popeyes guests the ability to enter the Bahamas Bowl Bundle Sweepstakes for a chance to win great prizes, including one of four grand prize trips for four to the Bahamas. Additional prizes include Popeyes Bahamas Bowl T-Shirts, hats, and Popeyes Gift Checks. From now through January 15, guests can enter for a chance to win by sending the unique code found on the Popeyes Bahamas Bundle Box to 30364, or by entering the code at the brand’s website. Two of the four grand-prize winners will be announced on Facebook and Twitter during the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl game, and the remaining two winners will be drawn after the January 15 end date.
