Popeyes recently opened its first franchise in the Nashville area, and expects to open 20 to 30 additional restaurants in the next few years. "We consider Nashville to be a key market with the potential for red-hot growth for Popeyes," says John Luther, president of Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits. "We are looking for multi-unit foodservice investors who want to add a brand such as Popeyes to their investment portfolio."
Popeyes, which offers the rights to franchise market by market, is announcing the offering of Nashville, along with other key cities such as Montgomery, Alabama; Cincinnati, Phoenix, Boston, and Pittsburgh. Franchise partners are being added at a rapid pace, and these markets are expected to be sold out within the next 9 to 12 months.
