Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen’s Butterfly Shrimp Tackle Box is back as Seafood Mardi Gras returns to Popeyes during February and March. The Butterfly Shrimp Tackle Box is loaded with eight premium butterfly shrimp marinated in Popeyes’ classic Louisiana seasonings, breaded in a crispy crust, and fried. It’s a complete meal that includes Cajun fries, a biscuit, and dipping sauce for just $4.99.

“While other restaurants only dabble in seafood, at Popeyes, seafood is in our DNA. We’re throwing open the kitchen doors with premium, Louisiana-style seafood offers,” says Hector A. Munoz, Popeyes chief marketing officer-U.S. “Our guests know they can trust Popeyes to bring our culinary heritage and expertise to the table every time and we have prepared a Seafood Mardi Gras celebration with something for everyone!”

The Butterfly Shrimp Tackle Box is only the beginning of Seafood Mardi Gras. These Louisiana-inspired seafood offerings are also a part of the celebration:

Cajun Surf and Turf - two handcrafted chicken tenders, four butterfly shrimp, Cajun fries, biscuit, and two signature dipping sauces

1/4 Lb. Popcorn Shrimp – Quarter pound serving of Popcorn Shrimp, a signature side, biscuit, and a dipping sauce

Cajun Fish – three fish filets, a signature side, biscuit, and a dipping sauce (at participating locations)

Fish and Popcorn Shrimp – two fish filets combined with Popcorn Shrimp, Cajun fries, biscuit, and dipping sauce

Lastly, no celebration would be complete without dessert, and Popeyes is unveiling the all-new Blueberry ‘n Lemon Cream Cheese Pie. This dessert is filled with blueberries, a hint of lemon, and real cream cheese.

The Seafood Mardi Gras celebration will continue at Popeyes through March 29th.
