Popeyes' New Dish Inspired by Louisiana State Flower

    Industry News | May 31, 2016

Popeyes announced its latest limited time offer, Magnolia Blossom Chicken. Cut to resemble the petals of the Louisiana state flower, Popeyes Magnolia Blossom Chicken is made from an all-white chicken breast, cut into pull-able and dip-able pieces, and marinated with a blend of sweet orange flavors.

Magnolia Blossom Chicken is served with a brand new spicy orange dipping sauce, created as the perfect partner for the dish.

“Magnolia Blossom Chicken delivers the flavors of a Louisiana summer in every pull-able, dip-able bite, and we know guests are going to love it,” says Hector Muñoz, CMO, U.S., for Popeyes. “At Popeyes, we have built a tradition of innovation guided by our Louisiana heritage. Magnolia Blossom Chicken is an example of that tradition in action, featuring both an incredible new flavor alongside a new cut of our famous Louisiana style chicken.”

Magnolia Blossom Chicken is served with one of Popeyes’ Signature sides, a buttermilk biscuit, and the new spicy orange dipping sauce, all for $3.99.

Popeyes has innovated around the cut of the chicken in the past with limited-time offers that have included Dip’n Chick’n and Rip’n Chick’n, two of the most successful offers in the brand’s long history of innovation.
