Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen introduces its latest product innovation, new Wild Pepper Tenderloins, bringing together a blend of three distinct peppers from around the world that offer guests a global experience delivered in true Louisiana fashion. Wild Pepper Tenderloins dishes up a flavor-rich experience that is another perfect demonstration of the culinary expertise Popeyes is known for.
“We draw inspiration for new dishes from the richest culinary platform in the world–Louisiana,” says Popeyes CMO Hector A. Muñoz. “With Wild Pepper Tenderloins, our culinary team reached out to bring in broad, global influences that are an everyday part of the modern-day Louisiana kitchen to provide guests a new blend of flavors that can’t be beat.”
Wild Pepper Tenderloins is four tender, juicy, all white meat chicken tenderloins, marinated in a blend of Szechuan, Aji Amarillo, and Habanero peppers then hand battered and breaded in a light and crispy crust and fried up fresh. Served with a Signature Side, a Buttermilk Biscuit, and the new Red Hot Honey dipping sauce, Wild Pepper Tenderloins is available at participating Popeyes for a limited time for only $4.99.
This isn’t the first time Popeyes culinary team has thrown open the Louisiana pantry, choosing exotic peppers and flavors that have made their way into Louisiana cooking. Earlier this year, Popeyes introduced Ghost Pepper wings, marinated in a ghost pepper blend that harnessed the heat of the peppers without sacrificing their unique flavor.
In June, Popeyes served up Smoky Garlic Chile Chicken, which utilized slow smoked Morita Chile peppers and garlic to marinate their all white meat tenderloins. Wild Pepper Tenderloins are available at participating restaurants through October 25.
