Portillo’s Kicks Off Beef Bus Voting Campaign

    Portillo’s announced it is hitting the road and bringing its new Beef Bus food truck to cities across the country. The future destinations will be decided by Portillo’s fans, through a new online voting campaign launching today at portillos.com/beefbus.

    Upon visiting the Portillo’s website, guests will be able to cast a vote for the chance at the Beef Bus making a stop in their town. The first round of voting ends April 30th, and the city that receives the most votes will win a visit from the Beef Bus, complete with a menu of the brand’s most iconic items. Offerings include Italian Beef sandwiches, Chicago-Style Hot Dogs, Crinkle-Cut Fries, and the brand’s famous Cheese Sauce. The voting campaign is open to any location in the 48 contiguous states. Guests can also proudly share their allegiance to Portillo’s by purchasing campaign pins, available via the brand’s online store.

    “We receive thousands of messages each month from our fans across the nation asking us to bring Portillo’s to their city,” says Portillo’s CEO Michael Osanloo. “Through our new Beef Bus voting campaign, guests will be in the driver seat. Whether you’re a former Chicagoan living in Louisville, or a fan looking to put their town on the map, your vote will count.”

    The Beef Bus will start the nationwide tour with a visit to the Florida State Fair in Tampa on February 6. Hungry fans can track the food truck and get location updates by following @beefbusofficial on Instagram and Twitter.
