Portland plant-based restaurant group Farm Spirit Family closed its restaurants starting Sunday, March 15 in response to the coronavirus outbreak. Owner Aaron Adams will shift the business to a pick-up and delivery only model during that time, available Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for Farm Spirit and Fermenter, and Sunday for brunch concept Folklore from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Fermenter and Folklore menus, as well as a special Farm Spirit three-course meal will be available for online ordering at their respective websites, and local bike delivery available from CCC PDX. Likewise, gift certificates are available for purchase online.

“Since opening our first location five years ago as a tiny 14-seat chef’s counter, the Portland dining public has supported us in innumerable ways,” says Adams. “Even though we are in uncharted waters right now, looking after one another and nourishing ourselves with healthy food that supports Pacific Northwest farming community is more important than ever. We look forward to feeding our loyal guests during this challenging time.”

Fermenter is located at 1414 SE Morrison in Portland. Farm Spirit and Folklore are located at 1403 SE Belmont St. in Portland, Oregon.
