Potbelly Sandwich Shop announced the opening of a new shop, a franchise location, in Rochester, Minnesota. Opening to the public on Tuesday, April 9, the new location joins the 24 Potbelly locations in the state and marks the second in Rochester.
Potbelly shops have earned a reputation across the United States for having delicious food and fun décor, especially within bustling Minnesota communities such as Rochester. Kim and Kirk Gordon, Sandy and John Rogness and Bill and Erin Nystrom, the owners of the new shop, have a combined 20 years of restaurant industry experience. Kim and Kirk Gordon also own the Potbelly Sandwich Shop on First Avenue SW in Rochester.
“We’re thrilled to add another location in Rochester with other esteemed entrepreneurs,” said Kim Gordon. “It is an honor to be able to bring our tasty sandwiches, salads, shakes and cookies to even more members of the community,” adds Kirk Gordon.

Hours of operation are 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. everyday.
Currently, there are more than 450 corporate and franchise Potbelly shops in the United States. The brand plans to continue franchise growth in 2019 and is seeking experienced multi-unit operators who have the drive to grow a great business opportunity.
