Rita’s Franchise Company, the world’s largest Italian Ice concept with more than 600 stores across the country, announced that Jeff Moody will step down as president and CEO to “semi-retire” and dedicate more time to family and not-for-profit work, effective February 10. Moody will assist in the transition of management until that time and continue as an Advisor.

Mike Lorelli, current member and past chairman of Rita’s board of directors, and former Pizza Hut CEO, will assume the interim role of president and CEO until a permanent replacement is appointed. Lorelli, who served as interim CEO of Rita’s in 2013, has been a longtime member of Rita’s board and has extensive knowledge of Rita’s franchise system and the quick-service industry.
