Pret A Manger will be opening the doors to its newest New York City location at New York Penn Station on Friday, April 10.  This opening marks Pret’s 39th New York City shop.

Situated in the heart of New York City’s main transportation hub on the corner of 34th Street and 8th Avenue, the new Penn Station shop will be catering to the hundreds of thousands of commuters who pass through the country’s busiest passenger transportation facility each day. The shop will be conveniently located along the LIRR Concourse, making it easy for passengers to pick up a coffee, breakfast, or lunch as they travel through the station. The shop, at 1,900 square feet, offers seating for more than 30 people.

“We’ve been proudly operating in New York for 15 years now and are thrilled to be opening our first transport hub shop in the city,” says Jo Brett, president of Pret A Manger U.S. “Penn Station is one of the busiest transport hubs in America and presents an excellent opportunity for us to continue serving the people of New York and its’ visitors.”

In Pret’s continued commitment to helping the hungry, Pret will donate unsold food at the end of every day to City Harvest.
