“There are so many fast-casual brands and entrepreneurs driving this industry forward into the future, and we love sharing their stories in QSR and on QSRmagazine.com,” says Sam Oches, QSR’s editor. “Now our readers can hear those stories first-hand via ‘Fast Forward.’ We look forward to many more conversations with interesting and thoughtful fast-casual experts.”
“Fast Forward” will update at least monthly with new conversations between Oches and fast-casual professionals. The second episode, due later this month, features Dog Haus founders Hagop Giragossian, Andre Vener, and Quasim Riaz.
Last year was a banner year for podcasting. One-third of all Americans ages 25–54 now listen to podcasts at least monthly, according to Edison Research.
“Podcast popularity is booming, and we recognize it’s a great medium for people to tap into even more content, whether it’s during their morning commute or their lunch break,” Oches says. “Our goal is for ‘Fast Forward’ to be just one more way restaurant professionals can find incredible value in QSR.”
