QSR announced the fourth installment of its popular new webinar series, “QSR Considers.”
Titled “The Restaurant of the Future,” the webinar will explore the various ways the COVID-19 pandemic will permanently alter the restaurant experience. Once again moderated by QSR editor Sam Oches, the panel conversation will feature Scott Boatwright, chief restaurant officer at Chipotle; Mandy Shaw, CEO at Blaze Pizza; and Bruce Reinstein, partner at foodservice consultancy Kinetic12.
“Operators were forced to change their restaurants on the fly when dining rooms closed early in the pandemic, and over the course of the last three months, the industry has quickly adapted to a totally new customer experience,” Oches says. “There’s little doubt many of these changes will be permanent, and that restaurant businesses will continue to rethink their operation to accommodate safety, convenience, value, and efficiency.”
The webinar will not only cover how companies like Chipotle and Blaze Pizza have already pivoted in the wake of the coronavirus, but also discuss ideas for how the store footprint will likely continue to evolve through the pandemic, recession, and beyond.
The “QSR Considers” webinar series features panel conversations with industry experts covering a variety of pandemic-related topics. Each panel will provide some practical advice for operators looking to boost their sales, expand their reach, and fortify their team through the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
