The distribution company for CiCi’s Pizza has hired 25-year retail purchasing veteran Bob Fulks as its new director of purchasing. In his career, Fulks has led purchasing teams at Pizza Hut, Starbucks, and Papa Johns.

“The goal of the purchasing team is to assure that cost of goods supports unit economic goals for our current partners and helps position CiCi's as a business where new franchisees will view us as the best option for their investment dollars,” Fulks says.

Fulks, a native of Wichita, Kanansas, most recently held a position with Togo’s Sandwiches in California, a former division of Dunkin’ Brands. As uncertainty in commodity prices continue to be an issue for all restaurant businesses, Fulks will focus on stabilizing unit costs and preparing the department for future growth as CiCi’s continues to expand both at existing restaurants and new franchise locations.
