MarketPlace Development, in conjunction with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA), will host a Concessions Leasing Outreach Forum on October 1, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Residence Inn Arlington Capital View Hotel in Arlington, Virginia.

At the forum, local, regional, and national retailers, quick-service food operators, and restaurateurs can learn more about the opportunities that will be available for the second phase of leasing at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD).

“Our goal is to find cutting-edge brands and innovative retail and restaurant concepts to meet the needs of the traveling public. We invite everyone interested in doing business at the airports,” says Paul McGinn, president of MarketPlace Development.

More than 300 people attended the Spring Outreach Forum for the first phase of leasing.

Both airport environments present a smart opportunity for merchants to benefit from captive passenger traffic and a strong demand for quality dining and shopping.

More than 42 million passengers traveled through Washington’s airports in 2012, with Reagan Airport yielding more than 19.7 million passengers and Dulles Airport boasting more than 22.6 million domesticand international passengers.
