Quiznos Introduces Cubano Sandwich for Limited Time

    Industry News | July 29, 2020

Quiznos announced a new limited-time offering with the Cubano sandwich, packed with double the meat and cheese typically found in an 8-inch sub and made with Quiznos’ standard fresh and high-quality ingredients.

Quiznos’ Cubano sandwich features a half-pound of mouthwateringly juicy, oven-roasted turkey and tender ham. The sandwich is topped with melted swiss cheese, pickles and yellow mustard on toasted and pressed, Cuban-style white bread.

“Fresh food means more than just high-quality ingredients, it means innovation -- providing unique twists on our classic sandwich offerings,” says Chef Mike Gieseman, Director of Culinary and Innovation for REGO Restaurant Group, which owns Quiznos. “The Cubano sandwich ‘meats’ this description in every way – piled high with savory meats and swiss cheese, the sandwich hits on current flavor trends our consumers expect from Quiznos and provides a great value with a half-pound of meat on an 8-inch sub. Pro tip: try this sandwich with a side of our signature Honey Mustard sauce for incredible flavor.”

Quiznos’ new Cubano sandwich is only available for a limited time at participating locations in the U.S. beginning July 28. Consumers can also purchase these ingredients from Quiznos Market, serving up fresh in-house meats and cheeses by the pound, signature sauces, artisan bread and more.

In addition to dining in, which is increasingly an option in several states, Quiznos restaurants continue to remain open for takeout and delivery service through its website and via third party services. With local guidelines changing quickly, our restaurant hours of operation could change without notice. For more information on Quiznos products and promotions, fans of the sandwich chain should download the Toasty Points mobile app, where guests can earn and redeem points for free Quiznos menu items at participating locations
