Quiznos Sub today announced a master license agreement with HMSHost Corporation, one of the world’s largest providers of food, beverage, and retail concessions in the travel industry. The agreement will fuel the opening of new restaurants in airports across the country.
Projects are already underway at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Detroit Metropolitan Airport, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, Miami International Airport, Seattle-Tacoma Airport, and Cincinnati Airport.
“We are extremely proud to work in partnership with a dynamic leader in the airport sector,” said Nick Schaefer, vice president of non-traditional development for Quiznos Sub, in a statement. “HMSHost has the vision and the know-how to create outstanding airport locations.”
The full Quiznos menu will be available at the airport locations, according to the company. “Airports are particularly important to Quiznos Sub because these locations allow us to reach a broad base of consumers,” said Schaefer. “These consumers come from all parts of the country, and many of them may not have tried one of our sandwiches.”
