Raving Brands, the Atlanta-based leader in fast-casual dining concepts, plans to acquire an interest in Atlanta icon Flying Biscuit, adding to its distinctive portfolio of fun, healthy, and fresh restaurant concepts that includes Moe’s Southwest Grill, Doc Green’s Gourmet Salads, and Shane’s Rib Shack.

Flying Biscuit, whose famous biscuits and unique menu have attracted a dedicated local following, is a unique opportunity for Raving Brands, representing its first foray into the breakfast segment and day parts besides lunch and dinner.

Secondly, by adding a breakfast concept, we are expanding the hours and day parts that our brands will be available to customers.”

Flying Biscuit Founder Delia Champion is expected to play an active role in the development of the Flying Biscuit franchise system and will be instrumental in the design of new restaurants and the training of franchisees.
