Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. (Red Robin) will open its 12th Illinois restaurant in South Elgin on Monday, Nov. 19, at 11 a.m. and its 62nd California restaurant in Foothill Ranch on Monday, Nov. 19, at 11 a.m.

As part of both grand opening celebrations, Red Robin will host a Burgers With A Heart fundraiser to benefit local firefighters. Through the event, Red Robin will donate 50 cents from every gourmet burger sold during grand opening week, Nov. 19 to 25, to the local firefighting department. The money raised will help support the Emergency Services Explorer program in South Elgin and the Fallen Fire Fighter Relief Fund in Orange County.

“Supporting the local communities where our restaurants are located is an important part of the Red Robin culture,” says Eric Houseman, Red Robin president and COO. “We invite everyone to come out and enjoy one of our 22 gourmet burgers and support Burgers With A Heart®.”

The 5,600 square-foot South Elgin Red Robin restaurant will seat 210 guests. The Foothill Ranch Red Robin is 5,600 square feet and will seat 221 guests. Both locations will be 100 percent smoke-free.
