The Associated Press reports that three quick-serve restaurants were damaged but no casualties inflicted by small bombs early Tuesday in Lebanon, according to police.
The first bomb exploded outside a Pizza Hut in the town of Jounieh damaging a staircase leading into the restaurant. The second went off thirty minutes later at a Winners restaurant in the same town, wrecking the restaurant’s entrance. The third reported bombing happened outside of a Pizza Hut in Tripoli around the same time as the first, damaging windows and furniture.
All three restaurants were closed at the time. No motives were given by police.
