Tim Hortons will add 48 self-serve coffee kiosks to new Tops Friendly Markets locations, adding to the company’s 72 existing Tops outlets in Western New York, Rochester, Central New York, and Northwest Pennsylvania. The new locations are part of Tops’ recent acquisition of a majority of grocery chain Penn Traffic’s assets.

All new locations will feature Tim Hortons’ signature blend of premium coffee, freshly brewed in-store by Tops Associates, as well as hot chocolate, French Vanilla, English Toffee, hot tea, and 10-packs of Tim Hortons’ signature Timbits donut holes.

“We are excited to see the Tim Hortons brand grow in the Western New York market, but also to expand our relationship with Tops Friendly Markets and their customers,” says David Clanachan, chief operations officer of U.S. and International for Tim Hortons. “Providing quality products to our customers, as well as more convenience through more locations, is a mutual goal with Tops and we are happy to continue this successful partnership.”

The first 15 new Tim Hortons locations will open in early June with the remainder to be completed by this fall.
