The Global Contract Caterer, Elior Group signed a franchise deal in order to bring the fast, casual and better burger brand Rocket’s to the German market.

Areas, a subsidiary of Elior Deutschland  GmbH, Cologne and one of the world’s leading operators in the catering and support services industry, has signed a license agreement with the Irish restaurant company Rocket Restaurants Limited. The deal represents a significant step for Rocket Restaurants expansion plans into the German market. The successful Irish fast, casual and better burger concept has proven hugely successful in Ireland for many years.

Rocket’s is an urban, premium-burger brand and suitable for locations at shopping centres, train stations and airports. As part of the exclusive agreement Areas and Rocket Restaurants have begun identifying suitable flagship locations at transport hubs as well as premises at shopping centres across Germany to launch the fast-casual better-burger brand, renowned for its made-to-order Irish beef hamburgers, chicken tenders, milkshakes and fries.

Established in 2014, Rocket’s was created leveraging Rocket Restaurants’ decades long expertise in foodservice, franchising and restaurant operations. Rocket’s is all about quality food made-fresh-to-order, using freshly-ground Irish beef. Rocket’s is strategically positioned as a fast-casual, better-burger brand with cosmopolitan appeal and poised for international growth.
