Roy Rogers Restaurants announced the quick-service chain signed a franchise agreement with RR Pasadena LLC for a new restaurant in Pasadena, Maryland. The Pasadena location will open in early 2015 and marks the Mid-Atlantic chain’s return to Anne Arundel County after more than a decade.

“RR Pasadena brings a wealth of operational experience in franchise and independent restaurant concepts,” says Jim Plamondon, copresident of the Plamondon Companies who owns the Roy Rogers Restaurants chain. “Coupled with their deep ties in the local community, the RR Pasadena organization embodies our brand’s spirit and we’re excited to have them join the Roy Rogers family.”

Roys’ commitment to the local community is one of many factors that attracted RR Pasadena to the brand.

“Roys’ history and community involvement are quite notable in this market,” says James King, managing member of RR Pasadena LLC.  “Our organization is enthusiastic about the Roy Rogers’ partnership and hopes this will be the first of several restaurants we build over the next few years.”

The new relationship with RR Pasadena LLC continues Roys’ trajectory of further franchise expansion throughout the Mid-Atlantic over the next five years by utilizing the expertise of franchise dynamics to bring new franchisee candidates to the brand.
