Rush Bowls—a fast-casual restaurant chain known for its meals-in-a-bowl crafted from the finest fruit, topped with granola and honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients—has signed a lease to open its third location in Dallas/Fort Worth at The Star in Frisco, the World Headquarters and training facility of the Dallas Cowboys (NFL).

The 1000-square-foot store will be located in the retail space surrounding The Star, between Cowboys Way and Warren Pkwy, and is set to open in January 2019. This is the third Rush Bowls location in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, with company plans calling for at least five additional restaurants over the next few years.

The location at The Star will be owned and operated by husband and wife team Ted and Elizabeth Bachmeier, who currently operate the Rush Bowls at Mockingbird Station.

“Building on the success and excitement we’ve experienced at our Mockingbird Station location, we are thrilled to announce our upcoming location at The Star in Frisco,” says Ted Bachmeier. “The Dallas Cowboys organization is a premier establishment, and a cornerstone in North Texas’ culture. We couldn’t be more honored to join the retail development surrounding the World Headquarters.”

Prior to teaming up with Rush Bowls, Ted Bachmeier, with a background in corporate retail, served as the Executive Vice President of Operations at Michael’s Corporation, a company he stayed with for 23 years. Elizabeth has been and remains a dedicated and active volunteer in the local community while staying home to support the couple’s blended family that includes Jessika, Jordan, Tyler and Kyle. Elizabeth’s passion lies in helping others, particularly in giving underprivileged kids emotional support and a second chance.

“The Star brings together people of all ages and lifestyles,” Elizabeth Bachmeier says. “We believe that adults and kids alike will love Rush Bowls’ healthy, quick, grab-and-go atmosphere.”
