Rush Bowls is firing up the blenders in St. Louis. The Colorado-based franchise—fast-casual restaurant chain known for its meals-in-a-bowl crafted from the finest fruit, topped with granola and honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients—has signed a multi-unit development deal for three restaurants throughout St. Louis, with the first slated to open this fall.
A lease has been signed for the first Rush Bowls restaurant in St. Louis, which will be located at 227 N. Euclid Ave., St. Louis, MO 63108. The new store will be the first of at least three that the franchise would like to open throughout St. Louis over the next several years. Other targeted expansion areas include Midtown and Clayton.
Rush Bowls’ St. Louis locations will be owned and operated by a husband-and-wife duo, Ken and Kim Moroney.
“We are truly excited to bring a unique concept like Rush Bowls to St. Louis,” says Kim Moroney. “The demand for a health-focused, trendy, quick-service restaurant was evident in St. Louis—we’re so pleased to have the opportunity to connect with those in the St. Louis community who, like us, are passionate about healthy and delicious food.”
Founded in 2004, Rush Bowls offers meals crafted from all-natural fruit, topped with organic granola and honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients that taste delicious while promoting a healthy lifestyle. Customers can choose from over 30 signature bowls or all-natural smoothies made with fruit, yogurt or acai.
Over the past 13 years, Rush Bowls has cultivated a loyal following with its menu specializing in healthy, all-natural, fruit-blended meals-in-a-bowl for those on the go. Bowls are also available in vegan, gluten-free, soy-free and dairy free options, and anything can be custom made to cater to any and all dietary needs.
“Rush Bowls is thrilled to welcome Ken and Kim to the team, and I am confident they will make our first foray into St. Louis successful,” says Rush Bowls founder Andrew Pudalov. “We are incredibly pleased with the following we have garnered in Colorado, and are excited to see the same acclaim and recognition nationally as we continue expanding. We feel that we have found the perfect franchise partners to promote our mission and establish Rush Bowls as the premier destination for grab-and-go meals in St. Louis.”
Pudalov also notes that with more than 20 Rush Bowls restaurants currently in various stages of development across six states, the brand plans to have over 10 locations open by the end of 2018.
