Saladworks, the nation’s first and largest fresh salad franchise concept, announces a three-store agreement in the Chicago metropolitan area.

Franchisee David Wojcik of Spring Grove, IL is using his background in retail sales to start his own business.

I love the concept of quick, healthy food choices,” says Wojcik.

Saladworks gives me an edge because there’s nothing like it around here.”

The Chicago area is key for Saladworks’ expansion; its location in O’Hare Airport is one of its most popular.

We can’t wait to get started developing in the Chicago area,” says Chairman/CEO, John Scardapane.

Our customers have been asking us for locations outside of O’Hare and we think Dave Wojcik is just the person to help us expand Saladworks in Chicago.”

The first store, set to open in 2012, will be located in Schaumburg with the other two locations to be determined.

Saladworks, celebrating its 25th anniversary, is the nation’s first and largest fresh-salad franchise concept, operating 100 locations in 12 states with more than 60 units in development.
