Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina expanded catering beyond lunch and dinner to include a breakfast program after testing its acceptance in select markets across the country.

Catering menu options include a breakfast burrito bar consisting of eggs, bacon or sausage, Mexican potatoes, salsa and cheese, or a traditional breakfast with biscuits. Fresh fruit, Danishes, coffee, and assorted juices are also available.

“We’re excited to expand our catering offerings to include breakfast,” says Paul Mangiamele, president and CEO of Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina. “As a fresh-Mexican concept, we offer flavorful, tasteful food beyond your traditional bagels and doughnuts that is not only affordable, but travels well and has a great presentation. Perfect for client meetings or a staff celebration or meal, our breakfast menu has been widely received thus far and we hope to carve a niche in the market with our new offerings.”

“As we continue to grow as a brand, breakfast catering is a great tool for our franchisees to expand their revenue base,” Mangiamele says. “Although this will not be an appropriate fit for all stores, we’ve already seen it gain up to 10 to 12 percent of our sales mix in select markets.”
