San Jamar Adds Thermometer to Allergen Prep Kit

San Jamar-Chef Revival, the leader in food safety tools, has added a new tool to its food allergen prep kit for foodservice operators: The Allergen Saf-T-ZoneSystem Thermometer.

According to the Food Allergy Awareness Network (FAAN), more than 15 million Americans have food allergies and for reasons unknown, incidents of food allergies are on the rise, resulting in more than 200,000 emergency room visits per year.

The Allergen Saf-T-ZoneSystem provides color-coded tools to minimize cross contact (when food comes into contact with another potentially-allergenic food).

The new Allergen Saf-T-Zone Thermometer is a professional, digital probe thermometer, molded in the System’s distinctive purple color. The optional Allergen Saf-T-ZoneTM Thermometer compliments the Allergen Saf-T-Zone System.
