Sandella’s Development Agent Marc Hughston and franchisee Sudhir Kumar have each signed leases in Orange County, California, that will bring two new stores to the West Coast. Sandella’s Flatbread Café is the largest flatbread concept in the world, with more than 130 locations. It opened its first California location a few months ago. Sandella’s currently has more than 400 additional restaurants in development across the U.S. and the United Arab Emirates.
The first new location is in Aliso Viejo, California, and can be found at the Park Plaza in Aliso Viejo Town Center on Aliso Creek Road. The spot is between Fatburger and Golden Spoon, only a few feet away from Barnes and Noble. This store is set to open in early April or sooner. The second Orange County location will also open in April and can be found in downtown Anaheim on the corner of Center Street Promenade and Anaheim Blvd, directly across the street from City Hall.
“These are excellent examples of the amazing real estate opportunities that are cropping up for us right now,” says Hughston.
Sandella’s Flatbread Café incorporates trends in the fast casual segment, serving fresh, hot, and healthy menu items such as grilled flatbreads, paninis, sandwiches, chopped salads, rice bowls, and quesadillas–all made with their own brick-oven, low calorie, fat free flatbread.
