Sandella’s Flatbread Café partnered with master franchisee Abdulaziz Abdulhadi Aljudee & Sons Holding to develop Sandella’s throughout Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Turkey. The new master franchisees will develop a minimum of 75 locations in 10 years. The new deal will add to Sandella’s two stores open and 12 stores in development in the United Arab Emirates with master franchisee Abela & Co. Sandella’s has 150 restaurants open in the United States.

Abdulaziz Abdulhadi Aljudee & Sons Holding will open its first Sandella’s Flatbread Café by the end of 2009.

“We are very happy to be working with Sultan Homoud, who is spearheading the development efforts of Abdulaziz Abdulhadi Aljudee & Sons to develop Sandella’s in the Middle East,” says Mike Stimola, CEO of Sandella’s. “Their expertise in the food industry and real estate markets gives us a solid base from which to grow our brand throughout the Middle East."

Sandella's opened a Sandella's Flatbread Cafe in Dubai with master franchisee Abela & Co in January. The group opened its second location at Spring Village residential center in early June. Plans are in the works for several additional units to open later this year in the United Arab Emirates.
