Schlotzsky's will blow out its 45th birthday by offering customers an opportunity to win $1,000 a day for the 45 days leading up to its birthday celebration on October 4. Guests who purchase the 45th birthday 32-ounce commemorative cup and enter the "Blowin' Out Birthday" sweepstakes in the LOTZ4ME app will be entered to win. New members who download the app will receive a free small The Original sandwich during the 45-day promotion window, August 19 to October 4.

Each 45th birthday 32oz. commemorative cup features a 10-digit sweepstakes code. In order to enter, fans log in to or, for new users, download the LOTZ4ME app and enter their unique cup code, which lights the Schlotzsky's birthday candle atop their famous The Original sandwich. By blowin' out the digital candle through the speaker of their smartphone, fans are officially entered to win $1,000. Fans can also receive in-app prizes by sharing their entry on Facebook, including $45 e-gift cards as well as an official Schlotzsky's 45th Birthday T-shirts.

In addition to the $1,000-a-day giveaway and the LOTZ4ME promotion, Schlotzsky's will launch the brand's first Snapchat filter as part of their Blowin' Out Birthday theme. The filter will be live at all locations on October 4 when they celebrate their 45thbirthday alongside guests by rolling back prices nationwide on a small The Original sandwich to $1.99. The one-of-a-kind sandwich that started it all features 13 fresh, flavorful ingredients, including fresh-from-scratch sourdough buns baked in restaurants daily.
