Consumers who have resolved to cut back on spending in the New Year can still enjoy dining out without sacrificing quality, flavor, and variety, thanks to Schlotzsky's—home of the popular The Original oven-baked sandwich and famous Fresh-from-Scratch sourdough.

Schlotzsky’s Pick 2 value option allows guests to mix and match any two of the following menu items for one price: half medium oven-baked sandwich, half fresh-tossed salad, half gourmet pizza, half Artisan Flatbread, or bowl of signature soup. The Pick 2 offerings let guests customize their meal with more than 1,600 possible combinations, all available under $8. With so many available combinations, Pick 2 offers something for everyone, whether they’re looking to save money, eat better, or simply warm up with hearty, comforting food.

Guests seeking healthier options have plenty to choose from, as Schlotzsky’s offers more than 45 menu items under 670 calories, which include Pick 2 combinations, oven-baked sandwiches, fresh-tossed salads, and more. Those looking to up their veggie intake can enjoy seven delicious freshly tossed salads, including the Kale Salad with Grilled Chicken. Now a permanent menu item, this salad is made with fresh kale and Napa cabbage topped with diced eggs, dried cranberries, Goat Cheese, candied pecans, and hand-carved grilled chicken breast—all tossed with a tangy red wine vinaigrette.

Those hoping to escape the winter weather can also head to their nearest Schlotzsky’s and warm up with a comforting bowl of signature soup, combined with half a toasty oven-baked sandwich or any other Pick 2 menu item of their choice. Guests can choose from a variety of soups, including New England Clam Chowder, a classic favorite featuring tender sea clams, and Idaho red skin potatoes simmered in onions, celery, garlic, and fresh cream with a touch of bacon topped with Schlotzsky’s signature roasted garlic Focaccia croutons.
