booths and enjoy free food, live music and giveaways.

All proceeds from the race benefit the Austin Sunshine Camps, which are sponsored by the Young Men’s Business
League and offer summer camp, year-round leadership building and scholarship programs to reach out to over
2,000 at-risk and disadvantaged youth each year.

Competitive runners will start at 8:00 a.m. Participants in the male and female Overall, Masters and Senior Masters
divisions will race for cash prizes of $250 each. Awards will also be handed out for all competitive age group
winners, Clydesdale and Athena divisions, wheelchair racers and K-9 participants (dogs and their humans).

The 5K family fun run will begin at 8:45 a.m., and will welcome runners, walkers, strollers and any pet that will stay
on a leash!

The Kids 1K fun run will start at 9:45 a.m. This non-competitive event for young children and their families is loads
of fun, and all participants will receive a T-shirt, official race number and “winner” ribbon.

downtown and north Austin RunTex stores. Participants can also visit www.bunrun.com to register. Registration

Last year’s Bun Run set a record for runners, as almost 7,000 participants helped net over $65,000 for the Austin
Sunshine Camps.
