Trevor Bynum will join The Schwan Food Co. on January 27 as president of Schwan’s Food Service Inc., bringing proven leadership, general management, and marketing experience from the food industry.
As president of Schwan’s Food Service, Bynum will be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the Schwan subsidiary. He will lead a team dedicated to providing high-quality products and service to the company’s food-service customers, including schools, universities, restaurants, health-care facilities, and convenience stores.

Bynum most recently served as the vice president and general manager of WhiteWave Foods Channels, where he was responsible for business with food-service customers as well as club, drug, and discount stores. He has also held leadership, general management, and marketing roles with other WhiteWave Foods divisions and with General Mills.
He earned his master’s of business administration from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School Of Management and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He also served as an officer in the U.S. Army.
