Scooter’s Coffee Headed to Palatka, Florida

Scooter’s Coffee, LLC, the Midwest-based drive-thru coffee franchise that is on track for another record-breaking year of growth, is continuing its effort to grow its presence throughout the United States by bringing its world-class drive-thru coffee locations to Palatka, Florida.

Scooter’s Coffee, based in Omaha, Nebraska, specializes in artisan espresso drinks, fruit smoothies, baked-from-scratch pastries and features its signature drink, the CarameliciousÒ. The company added depth to its profile last year with a new line of organic hot and iced teas, single-origin coffee and Cold Brew & Cream.

Americans love their coffee. The percentage of people in the United States who drink coffee daily is up to 64 percent in 2018, the highest since 2012. The use of drive-thrus for coffee was already on the upward trend but has skyrocketed recently. Scooter’s Coffee, with the Brand Promise of “Amazing People, Amazing Drinks… Amazingly Fast!®” is helping Americans meet that demand.

The additional expansion in Florida is very exciting for the Scooter’s Coffee brand. The franchise is expanding with a single-unit agreement recently signed by Justin and Ansley Champion.

The couple was born and raised in Palatka. Ansley loves coffee and Justin is a big breakfast fan. That is was a factor driving their decision for Scooter’s Coffee.

“We really love the support, core values, and products Scooter’s Coffee has to offer,” says Ansley Champion. “This concept is something completely different for this area, and we feel with the drive-thru option this location will thrive.”

In line with its successful and robust grand opening strategy, Scooter’s Coffee recently opened five locations throughout Kansas and Missouri, opened the second location in the state of Arkansas, and is opening additional locations in markets such as Dallas, Texas, and Denver, Colorado. The company is quickly approaching 300 locations in 17 states and has commitments for stores in 24 additional states.

“Palatka has only one other coffee shop, so adding a new Scooter’s Coffee location to this area will help with the demand,” says Tim Arpin, Scooter’s Coffee Vice President of Franchise Sales. “We are so excited to welcome Justin and Ansley to the Scooter’s Coffee family.”
