Scooter’s Coffee, LLC, the Midwest-based drive-thru coffee franchise experiencing record-breaking growth, continues its expansion throughout the United States by bringing its world-class coffee kiosks to Greenwood and North Augusta, South Carolina.

The exciting expansion is a result of a three-unit franchise agreement signed by Judd Larkins and his father, Robert Larkins. The two men work together at the Greenwood electrical subcontracting business that Robert founded 45 years ago and co-own a donut franchise with Judd’s two brothers. The father-and-son duo are looking forward to tackling the beverage industry together next.

“We were looking for an up-and-coming franchise that embodies customer service — like we do in other businesses,” says Judd. “We love the fact that founders Don and Linda Eckles are still running the company, as it means that Scooter’s Coffee will continue to be committed to customer service.”

Scooter’s Coffee, based in Omaha, Nebraska, specializes in espresso drinks, fruit smoothies, baked-from-scratch pastries and features its signature beverage, the Caramelicious. The company also offers a wide selection for all taste profiles with its organic hot and iced teas, premium-grade brewed coffee, cold brew, breakfast items, and a kids’ menu.

According to the latest market trends compiled by the National Coffee Association, 63% of Americans drank coffee in the past day — more than any other beverage, including water. Those coffee drinkers each consume an average of 2.8 cups every day. Zippia Research reports that 60% of American coffee drinkers visit a coffee shop at least once a month.

Scooter’s Coffee’s proven 664 sq. ft. drive-thru-only kiosk model, combined with their fast, friendly service, allows customers to ‘scoot in’ on their way to work or school to buy their favorite beverage and get their day off to a great start.

“I’m a big coffee drinker, but when we started this process, I hadn’t tried Scooter’s because there weren’t any around here yet,” says Judd. “Now I go a couple of times a week. I’m trying to taste everything on the menu.”

“The Larkins’ journey, from recognizing the importance of customer service to Judd’s personal exploration of our menu, embodies the very essence of what we look for in our franchise partners,” says Matt Sawicki, Senior Director of Franchise Development at Scooter’s Coffee. “Their enthusiasm and dedication assure us that Scooter’s Coffee will resonate within the communities of Greenwood and North Augusta, South Carolina.”
