Mountain West Retail/Investment Commercial Real Estate is now working with Chronic Tacos, a California-based Mexican food franchise, to open a new restaurant in Salt Lake County, Utah.
Mountain West Associate Real Estate Agent/Retail Specialist Tim Flinders and Agent Chris Hatch are working with Chronic Taco to find an existing space, preferably an existing restaurant, for the first Utah franchise location.
Flinders says the projected opening date for the Utah Chronic Taco is sometime during the first quarter of 2011. He also says that the ideal space will be between 800 and 1,800 square feet with a patio.
Daniel Biello and Randall Wyner launched the Chronic Tacos concept in 2001 in Newport Beach, California. The first Chronic Tacos store was an 800-square-foot space in Newport Beach, which opened in July 2002. In 2005, a second store opened in Huntington Beach. In 2006, Chronic Tacos began offering franchises. There are now more than 25 Chronic Taco stores throughout California, Arizona, and Idaho. Chronic Tacos’ menu includes burritos, tostado bowls, quesadillas, fatty tacos, taquitos, tamales, tortas, nachos, enchiladas, and breakfast burritos. A catering menu is also available.
