Seattle’s Best Coffee is pleased to announce that their 10 percent post-consumer recycled fiber (PCF) hot cups are now available to foodservice operators. Cups are made using recycled materials, which helps reduce the number of virgin trees cut and processed to make paper cups.

This innovative, food-safe material, developed by Starbucks Coffee Company and their paper supplier, helps reduce the company’s collective impact on the environment. In doing so, the new Serving the Best Seattle’s Best Coffee cups will contribute to the already impressive, enterprise-wide natural resource savings that post-consumer recycled fiber has achieved, which according to Environmental Defense includes 110,000 trees.
