Seattle's Best, Subway: Brewed to Perfection

    Industry News | November 6, 2009
Seattle’s Best Coffee signed an agreement to serve its coffee as part of Subway restaurants' breakfast offerings.

By the end of 2009, more than 9,000 Subway restaurants in the U.S. will feature Seattle’s Best Coffee, with plans to expand into more restaurants during 2010.

Additionally, an agreement was signed to bring Seattle’s Best Coffee to a group of more than 800 Subway restaurants in Canada before the end of 2009.

“Today, consumers are looking for and expect a high-quality, premium coffee experience wherever they are,” says Michelle Gass, president, Seattle’s Best Coffee.

Subway restaurants will feature a fully branded Seattle’s Best Coffee program to accompany their freshly made breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The restaurants will freshly brew Seattle’s Best Blend, a signature coffee house blend that features a sweet, lively, snappy flavor with an incredibly smooth finish; Henry’s Blend, a nutty, hearty, and flavorful blend which is also used in all espresso beverages in Seattle’s Best Coffee cafes; or 6th Avenue Bistro blend, a dark, rich and smooth blend, along with Decaf Seattle’s Best Blend.

“We recognize that a great cup of coffee can be an integral part of one’s day," says Suzanne Greco, director of research & development at Subway.

“The blend selections available from Seattle’s Best Coffee will wonderfully compliment our breakfast menu.”
