On September 17th, a Cook County, Ill., Circuit Judge will decide whether or not to approve a preliminary settlement agreement in the various class-action suits stemming from last year’s promotional game scandal.

If the settlement is approved, McDonald’s will offer a sweepstakes of 15 $1 million prizes towards the end of 2002. Notices have the settlement have already appeared in USA Today and other national publications.
