    Shake Shack

Since the original Shack opened in 2004 in NYC’s Madison Square Park, the company has expanded to more than 180 locations in 26 U.S. States and the District of Columbia, including more than 70 international locations across London, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Dubai, Tokyo, Moscow, Seoul and more.

Concessions International and Shake Shack celebrated the grand opening of Shake Shack on Monday, October 29 at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Concourse A near Gate 28. The long-awaited Shake Shack is a joint venture between CI and H&H Hospitality, an Atlanta Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE).

Shake Shack is a critically acclaimed, modern day “roadside” burger stand known for its 100 percent all-natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches and flat-top Vienna beef dogs (no hormones or antibiotics—ever), frozen custard, crinkle cut fries, and more. A fun and lively community gathering place with widespread appeal, Shake Shack has earned a cult-like following around the world. Shake Shack opened its first Atlanta location in Buckhead in 2014 and its second location in Perimeter Mall in 2016.

The grand opening included a ribbon cutting ceremony with CI’s CEO Donata Russell Ross, Randy Hazelton, CEO of H&H Hospitality, John Berberich, Global Director of Strategic Initiatives, Shake Shack and city of Atlanta and airport officials.  Travelers also enjoyed delicious Shake Shack samples, live music, and giveaways.
