Shake Shack is ready to land at Los Angeles International Airport’s Terminal 3. The LAX Shack, to be operated by global restaurateur HMSHost, and in partnership with developer Westfield and Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), will open on June 28, serving breakfast and Shack classics daily from 4:30 a.m. to midnight.

Shake Shack is a critically acclaimed, modern day “roadside” burger stand known for its 100 percent all-natural, antibiotic-free Angus beef burgers, chicken (no hormones added ever), flat-top dogs, frozen custard, crinkle cut fries, beer and wine (available at select locations) and more. A fun and lively community gathering place with widespread appeal, Shake Shack has earned a cult-like following around the world.

The LAX Shack’s breakfast menu will feature Shake Shack’s signature breakfast sandwiches: Sausage, Egg N’ Cheese ($5.65), Bacon, Egg N’ Cheese ($5.65) and Egg N’ Cheese ($4.45). All three sandwiches consist of griddled-fresh cage-free eggs, served with American cheese on a toasted potato bun. The sausage breakfast sandwich is topped with all-natural Shack pork sausage and the bacon sandwich is topped with all-natural applewood smoked bacon.

Rounding out breakfast will be a wide selection of coffee from Stumptown Coffee Roasters. Get a wake-up call with Shack drip coffee ($3.29 for 16 oz.), brewed with an exclusive Stumptown Shack blend or with Stumptown single origin beans, or cool down with a Stumptown Cold Brew ($5.65 for 16 oz).

“We’ve built such a strong community in LA since we opened our first Shack last year at West Hollywood,” says Shake Shack Vice President of Global Licensing Michael Kark.  “We’ve always had hopes for an LAX restaurant and are thrilled that it’s becoming a reality. We’re excited to share the Shake Shack experience with even more Angelenos and with travelers from around the world”.

“HMSHost is thrilled to be bringing Shake Shack to LAX and delivering this beloved burger brand to travelers,” says HMSHost president and CEO Steve Johnson. “We’re also very excited that we’re able to do this alongside LAWA and Westfield, a perfect debut for this exciting new partnership.”

“In partnership with HMSHost, it is a thrill to bring such a celebrated brand such as Shake Shack to Delta’s customers at LAX,” says Rob Van Snik, senior vice president of commercial operations for Westfield Airports. “It’s a game changer for the experience at Terminal 3, and an exciting part of the transformation taking place both inside T3 and throughout the entire airport.”

“We’re raising the bar for what’s possible at an airport and with the help of our partners we’re adding Shake Shack to our list of delicious LAX eats that guests will be able to enjoy,” says LAWA Deputy Executive Director/Chief of External Affairs, Trevor Daley. “Shake Shack will redefine the travel experience and will surely become an LAX must-stop spot.”
