Shane’s Rib Shack is celebrating May, the official BBQ month, by giving away free ribs to the first 100 friends at every location on Saturday, May 17. The first 100 friends at every Shane’s on May 17 will each receive a free half rack of baby back ribs and a free large Coca-Cola Zero. In addition, the first 100 will also receive an official numbered “Shaniac” Jersey T-shirt (No. 1 – 100).
For those who don’t make the first 100, Shane’s will offer consolation prizes… certificates to “Treat Your Friend to Shane’s” with a special buy one get one free offer. Shane’s is distributing these special certificates to allow friends to celebrate and dine together during the summertime BBQ season.
“We want to bring our friends together and celebrate the official start of summer BBQ season by giving away our signature product, baby back ribs, on May 17,” explains Shane Thompson, founder of Shane’s Rib Shack. “I grew up on backyard BBQ’s with friends and family … they were some of the best times of my life. There’s no food that brings friends together during the summer season like BBQ and that’s the sentiment we want to convey during ‘100 Days of Backyard BBQ.’ As we continue to expand across America, our friends can sleep easy knowing Shane’s will give them a wake-up call to kick off the official beginning of BBQ Season. We will take ownership of that responsibility!”

BBQ enthusiasts may visit any Shane’s location from May 18 through August 15 to enter for a chance to win your own Backyard BBQ gathering. Prizes will be awarded weekly and include a Free Backyard BBQ for 10 at your backyard or a Backyard BBQ for 2 at Shane’s!
